Oasis, the Killers, and Kaiser Chiefs are to cover songs from the Beatles' Sgt Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band to mark the 40th anniversary of the classic album's release.
The original album was released on June 1, 1967, and to mark the event the big names will all be covering tracks from the record for a BBC2 special to be aired in the U.K. on June 2.
Razorlight, James Morrison, the Fratellis, and Travis are among the other acts taking part.

Brandon Flowers has criticised Green Day for what he sees as their calculated anti-Americanism.
In particular, Flowers singled out the track 'American Idiot' and the fact they filmed their DVD 'Bullet In A Bible', which features the song, in the UK.
"You have Green Day and 'American Idiot'. Where do they film their DVD? In England," The Killers' frontman told The Word. "A bunch of kids screaming 'I don't want to be an American idiot' I saw it as a very negative thing towards Americans. It really lit a fire in me."

Killers singer Brandon Flowers has apologized to rival bands he has bad-mouthed and vows to keep his mouth shut for now on. The American rocker landed in trouble after attacking the 'Emo' pop punk movement, and warning it will sweep the nation and change the teenage generation forever.

'Sam's Town' will be the follow-up to the breakthrough album 'Hot Fuss' and will be released in the UK on October 2nd.
