Avril Lavigne’s Arista album of the same name appears to be the easy winner of next week’s chart race, on target to rack up some 250k in sales for her third album. Those are based on one-day sales figures from our shell-shocked, if indefatigable, network of record retailers around the country.

Pop diva Britney Spears is to rap on her next album.
Her producer, J.R. Rotem, has revealed her hip-hop plans and says the mum-of-two's fifth LP is going to be "crazy" and will take the 'Toxic' singer to "the next level".
He revealed to MTV: "I can tell you there's some dance stuff, there's some slow, more introspective stuff and some club tracks. She even raps a bit. Talk rap."
He added: "When she gets behind the microphone there's a magic that comes out - and the music that we're doing is the next level."

JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE decided to call his new album FUTURESEX/LOVE SOUNDS after collaborators pointed out that all of his tracks were either about sex or love. The cover of Janet Jackson's new album, 20 Years Old, due out September 26, will be designed by a fan. On Tuesday, Janet will launch a contest giving fans an opportunity to create the artwork for her ninth studio set.
The Design Me contest requires participants to download images of Janet, create proposed album covers, and to post the creations on the contest page. Contestants will vote for their favorite submissions, and Janet will select her top four favorites, which will be used for the first one million copies of the album.
