Fans at Bonnaroo yesterday (June 15) were so angry at Kanye West for his delayed performance that they scrawled their anger in spraypaint on the portaloos at the site, angrily chanted his name and pelted glowsticks at the stage during the two-hour delay.
West was due to perform at 2.45am yesterday morning but did not emerge on stage until 4.25am.
Messages on the screens told the crowd the show would be delayed until 3.15am and then delayed again until 3.30am, reports the Associated Press.
The crowd repeatedly chanted "Kanye sucks!"...

China will tighten its controls over foreign singers and other performers after Icelandic singer Bjork shouted "Tibet! Tibet!" at a Shanghai concert last weekend, the Ministry of Culture said on Friday.
Bjork chanted the name of the Chinese-ruled Himalayan region after performing her song "Declare Independence", which she has used in the past to promote independence movements in other places such as Kosovo.
The performance "not only broke Chinese laws and regulations and hurt the feelings of Chinese people, but also went against the...

Paul McCartney has reached a $400 million agreement with iTunes for the distribution of the Beatles' back catalog.

Trent Reznor of Nine Inch Nails made headlines again this week as he released his new, four-part instrumental album Ghosts I-IV, at a variety of price points, including a $300 super-deluxe package. He's also giving away Ghosts I at no charge, even throwing the tracks up on The Pirate Bay for anyone to download. And it appears to be working quite well for Reznor, who has managed to sell all 2,500 copies of his $300 package without major label backing or much in the way of splashy marketing. If Reznor's earlier experiments in digital...

The only Fil-Am band to celebrate a CD release at the Legendary Punk dive CBGB'S, thru the help of Renrick Pascual aka Kapitan Inggo and the management of Edgardo Sunico. Ira Cruz and Bamboo Manalac and their manager, attended the release party courtesy of HAPPYBOX Productions!

NEW YORK — The last time I saw Gino Inocentes and Rubberband play live, at Tribeca Rock Club in New York in the fall of 2005, I had to help break up a fight between two groups of Pinoy youths from Queens and Jersey City who came in droves to watch these amiable homeboys rock their big-city funk and homesick blues away.Don’t overread that. It was not the usual CBGB-toned punk anguish that makes “underground rock” a grossly-misread cross-cultural escape. These kids were alright, and the music’s fine. Just some petty “barangay”...
